TATTOO BOOKING CONFIRMATION

Thank you for making your tattoo booking with Elysian Tattoo Co. Your booking is scheduled with your artist.

Now that you have been added to our diary system, you will receive a text confirming your appointment details. You will also receive a reminder text 4 days prior to your booking date.

Please be aware that all our resident and guest artists operate independently and are responsible for their own work. They rent studio space to carry out their services. This means that your chosen artist will be solely responsible for your tattoo, including payment and booking arrangements. Please make sure to communicate directly with them for any inquiries, interactions, or arrangements. Each artist, both resident and guest, handles their own bookings and sets their own prices.

Strictly 18+ policy

In Western Australia, it is illegal to tattoo or brand a person under 18 years of age without the written consent of a parent of legal guardian. This law also applies to the execution of intimate and non-intimate body piercings.  However, at Elysian Tattoo Co we have a strict NO underage tattoo policy.

Preperation

Please DO NOT shave the area or get sunburnt before your appointment. Moisturize the desired area daily for a week before your appointment to ensure healthy skin. Try to ensure you get adequate sleep, eat well, and remain well hydrated in the lead-up to your session. Please do not arrive at your session hungover! We ask you to NOT use numbing cream as it changes the texture of the skin and risks affecting the skin's healing process. Your artist may use lidocaine products throughout the tattoo process, which has a slight numbing effect.

Payment

Payment for the tattoo will be to your artist. Most prefer CASH ONLY on the day. However, some artist are happy to accept a bank transfer if needed. It is advised that you bring a bit of extra cash than quoted in case your session runs slightly longer than planned, or if you would like anything added on. There are a lot of variables in tattooing so it's best to be prepared.

ALL deposits are paid directly to your artist and are NON-REFUNDABLE. Your deposit will be deducted from the final price of your tattoo. You can ask your artist to move your existing deposit over to your next booking if you have multiple bookings planned.

Design

Every tattoo project is different. Every tattoo artist works in different ways. Depending on the tattoo, most artists will usually design your tattoo the night before your booking. Please don’t harras your artist to see your artwork. They have a lot of clients schedualed in and usually work through designs in periodic manner.

Please note that if you decide to change your subject matter and/or area you want to be tattooed. This puts your artists out, and they may choose to cancel your booking and you can risk losing your deposit. Please DO NOT arrive at your session with a completely different request to what you have booked as this will garrentee your booking being canceled and lose of deposit.

Courtesy

Please do not arrive late for your booking. If you are running late or are unprepared, please contact the studio immediately by phone. If you need to reschedule your appointment, it is required that you email your artist 4 days prior to your appointment.

GUEST ARTISTS

Thank you for choosing to book with one of our Guest Artists. We strive to make your experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Guest artists provide clients with an exciting opportunity to get a tattoo from some amazing artists. However, we want to provide some important information to avoid any confusion or misunderstandings regarding your appointment.

It is also important to understand that the healing of the tattoo is your responsibility as the client. Unlike resident artists, guest artists may not be able to provide touch-ups at a later date. Therefore, please take good care of your tattoo to ensure the best outcome.

Furthermore, some of our international guest artists may not be fluent in English. We kindly request that you communicate clearly when discussing instructions or details regarding your tattoo or booking to avoid any misunderstandings.

Please also keep in mind that many international guest artists may not fully comprehend the large distances clients often travel to get a tattoo in Western Australia. Our state is vast, and it's possible that these artists may have difficulty understanding this. If there are any changes or adjustments to your booking, please communicate clearly with them to avoid any complications.

Lastly, please be aware that guest artists are visiting and may not be able to continue a tattoo at a later date if their schedule is already fully booked during their stay. It is important to discuss and plan accordingly during your initial appointment to ensure that the tattoo can be completed within the guest artist's available time.
